Title: Full Arch Rehabilitation with axial and tilted implants:
the All on 4 concept
Abstract: Permanent rehabilitation of edentulous jaws represents a challenge for the clinician and a more frequent request by patients. The new surgical techniques, new materials today allow to rehabilitate a complete dental arch in a short time and with minimal discomfort for the patient. Among these techniques, the All on 4 ™ concept developed by Dr. Paulo Malo ' represents a valid therapeutic alternative that allows a full dental arch rehabilitation without bone grafts and with the use of only 4 implants, both for the lower jaw that for the maxilla, in regimen of immediate loading.

Title: Early Childhood Caries: Causes, diagnoses, treatments and prevention
Abstract: Early childhood caries (ECC) is a diet-induceddiseaseseen in infantsand toddlers. ECC is a serious public health problem in both developing and industrialized countries. It is a multifactorial, transmissible and infectious disease that can cause malnutrition, low self esteem, decay and malocclusion in permanent dentition. Such children should be targeted with a professional preventive programme that includes oral hygiene instructions form others orcaregivers, long with flouride and diet counseling. Theaim of this lecture is to give information about causes, diagnoses and treatments of ECC and describe how to prevent it.

Title: Allergic reactions in the orofacial area. Clinical and histological presentation
Abstract:
Oral allergic reactions are rare pathological events in general practice. However in some instances the dentists are the first to diagnose such reactions. A genetic predisposition is involved in allergic persons. The pathophysiological mechanism is based on the Gell and Coombs types of hypersensibility; sometimes associated reactions are encountered. However a part of the pathophysiological mechanisms remains unknown. Thus it is no general accepted classification of oral allergies and few statistical data are available.

Title: There is something around the tooth
Abstract:
Everyone who ever treated a patient knows that our profession not only cares for teeth and gingiva. During the last decades medicine and dental medicine researched a lot about interdiciplinary connections between the oral system and all other parts of the body. We started to get an idea how intense these connections exist on all levels but still – what should we do with this knowledge and how to integrate this in the everyday dental office? What could be the benefits of these concepts and how to communicate non dental issues to our patients?

Title: Implant-Supported Fixed Rehabilitation - Step by Step
Abstract:
Nowadays, implant-supported oral rehabilitation is a predictable treatment option being increasingly requested by patients and adopted by clinicians.
Therefore, it is essential for the clinician to be familiarized not only with the concepts of these rehabilitations but also with simple and complex complications management.
Through this presentation we will discuss the main steps of fixed implant-supported rehabilitation through a systematic step by step approach from single units to full arches.

Title: Tissues for Implants: what's the secret?
Abstract:Tooth loss often times is associated to soft and hard tissue disintegration. These defects have to be recovered prior to implant and prosthetic rehabilitation in order to guarantee proper function and esthetics. Among bone-, connective tissue transplants and GTR and GBR the dentist is free to choose the right treatment option. Treatment time, biologic costs and economic aspects have to be carefully evaluated to satisfy patient expectancies and long term results. This lecture will evidence e the advantages and disadvantages of the different techniques and materials available today.

Title: Oral potentially malignant disorders

Title: “Soft and hard tissues around implants with microtextured collar”
Abstract:
Generally connective tissue becomes organized into fibrous capsule, with collagen fiber oriented parallel to the implant surface. The tendency of the epithelium to proliferate and migrate along an implant device create a sinus tracts that may undermine the implant. The aim of this lecture is
demonstrate that the micromachined grooved surface with horizontally oriented grooves with different deep, can produce obliquely oriented connective tissue ingrowth and inhibits epithelial proliferation
