The scientific activity of Dr. Mori has been mainly oriented toward bone cell biology, bone resorption and remodelling, with a particular expertise on in vitro systems. Recently, the interest has been also focused to osteoclast formation in pathological conditions and in microgravity. Many relevant results about the interaction between osteoclasts and osteoblasts, and osteoclast formation and activity in Tail-suspended rats have been obtained. In parallel results in the understanding the mechanisms regulating bone resorption in solid tumour malignancies with bone involvement as in multiple myeloma, and in inflammatory diseases as psoriatic arthritis and periodontitis have been achieved. He is also studying dental pulp stem cells differentiation peculiarities.Speaker in national and international courses and conferences on bone cells biology and pathology. Author and co-author in national and international scientific publications. Peer reviewer for many scientific journals.
